Home of the Tampa Bay Rays, Tropicana Field is very unique. Behind the right centerfield wall is the Rays Touch Tank maintained in cooperation with the Florida Aquarium. The tank is 35-feet deep and 10,000 gallons of water, fans can feel and feed the Rays. Tropicana Field is the only baseball field to have artificial turf, but all dirt base paths. Explore the interactive areas around the field with games and exhibits for all ages. Attend a game but in addition check out the website to view tour dates and rates; reservations are necessary!

Located at the Pier waterfront, the Pier Aquarium is a non-profit marine science education center. Intended for education as well as entertainment, enjoy the touch tank, interactive fish theatre, and even a fish feeding. The aquarium is home to 1,200 scientists and researchers. The research they do and innovative technology they use is incorporated in exhibits and games for the whole family to enjoy.

The St. Petersburg Museum of History has over 32,000 artifacts from St. Petersburg, Florida, and of the United States. Along with exhibits, the museum also has a collection of 8,000 historic photos, and 5,000 documents. Call ahead for educational tours, learn more about the learning center, youth or training programs. This museum is not just a hall of exhibits, but a hall of history and there is much one can learn from visiting the St. Petersburg Museum of History.
